There’s no shortage of good news around Pacific this week — from honoring local heroes to getting ready for the new season.
🛹 Boards for a Cause: Skatepark Progress
The Jeffrey White Memorial Skatepark project is gaining momentum! As featured in The Missourian, organizers created 100 custom skateboard decks to raise funds in honor of Spc. Jeff White, who gave his life serving in Afghanistan in 2012.
Each deck sells for $200, with proceeds supporting skatepark development and future lighting. By mid-August, nearly 20 boards had already been sold.
🌟 PVA proudly contributed by purchasing four custom boards — one for each of Pacific’s elementary schools. We’re excited to see this project move forward and provide a safe, fun space for local youth.

🍂 Fall is Almost Here
The mornings are a little cooler, and it’s just about that time… 🍁
Clear out those summer flower pots and garden beds 🌼
Make room for colorful mums 🌸
And of course, pumpkins 🎃
It’s one of the best seasons in Pacific, and we can’t wait to see porches and patios decorated for fall.
