Ready to Enjoy a Golden October Weekend?

Two nearby events offer fun ways to get moving this weekend—from a glowing nighttime 5K to a scenic bicycle ride through the fall countryside.

🌕 Harvest Moon 5K Run & Walk

The 15th Annual Harvest Moon Run lights up historic Route 66 State Park on Saturday evening. Runners and walkers follow a flat, paved 5K course illuminated with path lights. There is also a free kids’ run for children age 10 and younger.

Kids’ Fun Run: 6:25 p.m.

5K Run and Walk: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Route 66 State Park, 97 North Outer Road, Eureka

“The evening also supports the Harvest Moon Run Hunger Mission. Proceeds benefit the Agape House in Pacific and other area food programs. Participants and visitors are encouraged to bring canned or boxed food for the Fill a Ford with Food collection. Advance online registration is scheduled to close October 6, but race-day registration begins at 5:00 p.m.

🚲 Tour de Wildwood

Prefer exploring on two wheels? Tour de Wildwood takes cyclists through the colorful country roads surrounding Wildwood.

Riders may choose a scenic 26.5-mile route or a more challenging 43-mile route. E-bikes are welcome, and the organized ride includes route support, a rest stop and a post-ride lunch.
