If you stepped outside this week, you felt it.
Sunshine.
Highs pushing 70°.
That first little taste of spring in the air.
It’s what we call False Spring here in Missouri.
Because just when we start thinking patio season… winter reminds us it’s not finished yet.

The Week Ahead in Pacific
We’re looking at a dramatic temperature swing:
☀️ Friday & Saturday — Near 70°
❄️ Sunday & Monday — Snow chances return
🌧 Early next week — Rain and cooler air
That’s nearly a 30-degree shift in just a few days!
Classic Missouri.
Smart Reminders During False Spring
Before we get too comfortable, here are a few important seasonal reminders:
Keep thermostats set to at least 55° if you’re away.
Overnight freezes are still very possible.
Do not reconnect outdoor hoses yet.
Even if daytime temps feel warm, freezing nights can still cause damage.
Be mindful of refreezing.
Melting snow and rain can create slick sidewalks and parking areas overnight.
Report maintenance concerns early.
Temperature swings can stress plumbing and exterior systems.
This is the time of year when small precautions prevent big problems.
