Last week’s winter storm certainly made its presence known here in Pacific. ❄️ Over the course of the weekend, our area received approximately 5–6 inches of snowfall, along with bitter cold temperatures and gusty winds that kept roads slick and travel slow.
Through it all, the Pacific community showed exactly what it’s known for — resilience, neighborliness, and a whole lot of grit.
🍕 Local Shout-Out: Thank You, Saucy’s Pizzeria!

When weather makes cooking the last thing anyone wants to do, having a local business step up makes a real difference. It’s businesses like Saucy’s that remind us how special small-town community support really is. 👏🍕
If you grabbed a slice during the storm — you know exactly what we mean.
🧊 A Quick Winter Reminder
As we continue through the coldest stretch of winter, we appreciate everyone doing their part to help protect the community:
Thank you for keeping thermostats set to 55°F or higher when traveling
Thank you for keeping sidewalks and parking areas clear when possible
Thank you for looking out for neighbors during extreme weather
Those small steps go a long way in preventing frozen pipes, water damage, and safety issues. :)
