An important notice for our Pacific friends nieghbors and family!: Due to a city water main break, a boil water order is now in effect and will remain in place through at least tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday, August 20, 2025).
The City of Pacific and emergency management teams will notify residents once the order is lifted.

💧 What This Means for You
During the boil order, please take the following precautions to keep your household safe:
Boil all tap water for at least 3 minutes before using it for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking, or washing food.
Discard all ice and do not use ice from automatic ice makers. Remake ice only with boiled or bottled water.
Disinfect dishes and food contact items by immersing them for at least one minute in clean tap water mixed with one teaspoon of unscented household bleach per gallon.
Let boiled water cool before drinking (about 110°F).
✅ What’s Still Safe
Bathing and showering
Doing laundry
Watering plants
Using bottled water
Boiling is only required for water you drink or cook with.
ℹ️ Why the Boil Order?
Boil orders are issued after major water main breaks or low-pressure events. They are precautionary while the water system is tested for safety.
🏡 PVA Residents: Stay Updated
We’ll share updates as soon as we receive official notice that the boil order has ended. In the meantime, thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep our community safe.
