Spring is in full swing around Pacific Village Apartments—and if you’ve been looking for a reason to get outside, take a scenic drive, or explore a small Missouri town you may not have visited in awhile… this might be your weekend. 🌼
This week we’re highlighting two fun local getaways:
Don Robinson State Park near Byrnesville
A Route 66 Spring Pop-Up Market happening in Cuba, Missouri
Both are easy day trips from Pacific and perfect for spring weather.

🥾 Don Robinson State Park: One of Missouri’s Hidden Gems
Just about 15–20 minutes from Pacific, Don Robinson State Park feels like stepping into another world.
The park is known for:
🌲 Sandstone canyons
🪨 Shelter caves and cliffs
🥾 Beautiful hiking trails
📸 Scenic overlooks
🐦 Quiet forest landscapes
The trails range from relaxing walks to more adventurous hikes, and the scenery changes constantly as you move through wooded valleys and rock formations.
One of the most popular hikes is the Sandstone Canyon Trail, a roughly 4-mile loop featuring dramatic canyon views and unique rock formations. There’s also the shorter LaBarque Hills Trail, known for elevated views and peaceful wooded terrain.
